2007 Infiniti G35 - Clicking in dashboard?

The car for the most part should still be under Infiniti's factory warranty if your not over 60K miles. I would suggest taking it to your local Infiniti dealer so they can yze the problem. If the vehicle was in a previous accident it may just be a certain part that was improperly replaced. If the car holds a clean title then I'm not to sure what it could be, the 2007 G35 sedan has a telescopic steering wheel so thats pretty much the only thing that moves in the front drivers cabin. I cant quite understand what would make a noise like that unless it was internal. Knocking noises usually infer in most cases that the engine is being fueled with a lower octane other then premium fuel so that could also cause a ticking or common knocking noise in the engine however you stated it only occurs past 3000 RPM so that is less likely the case. Inspect you car and revise the interior to see if there are any loose articles or parts that may be causing the noise, other then that I have never really heard of an issue such as this in a newer generation Infiniti G35/G37 sedan, for the most part they are well built great quality and reliable vehicles. Your best bet is to take it to your local Infiniti dealer =)
