My 2006 Infiniti M35's heater blows out cold air in the winter and the a/c blows out warm air in the summer.?

In the winter, the heater will sometimes kick on when the car is being driven at highway speeds. And in the summer, the a/c will sometimes work ok right after the car is started and driven initially, but it usually then blows warm air. Any ideas on what this could be?
