How come I can hide my cursor only on the right side of the screen but not the left?

Whenever i move my cursor to the left of the screen it only goes to the edge but when I move it to the right it hides... is there any particular reason for that? Or is it just some weird pointless thing? Ok now that i think about it, this is kind of a random question, but I got all bored n' stuff. Also... do you like cheese?
