Help convince my dad to buy or at least help me buy a car?

ok so to start off my dad is like the cheapest person ever.. he makes pretty good money but he doesn't like to spend it. in fact my mom actually divorced him cause he was to selfish with his money. but anyways he probably has around $500,000-$600,000(at least that's what I heard last about a year ago but I never really know with him..) in the bank right now and pretty much lives pay check to pay check paying all the bills and stuff then putting the rest in the bank..( oh yeah except for his girlfriend he buys everything for her) so I would like to get a car and I was thinking like a used infiniti g37 for around $25,000. ok I know that's not cheap haha trust me I know especially for a first car.. but I want a car that's not bad off the line looks pretty tight and it actually isn't to bad on insurance.. he says no.. he wants to buy me a car around $3000... why? because he bought a car when he was a kid and payed for everything all by himself.. now I get where he's coming from but that was in the 70s when he got a car at 14.. I can't and I'm paying my insurance and gas.. and also he has a friend who bought his kid and old civic from like the 90s and he totally pimped it out.. RICER. no thank you. but yeah well sorry for the long paragraph and everything but hope you can help.. thanks in advance:)
