Is FUJIFILM a good brand for a camera?

I was looking at best buy online and saw a FUJIFILM - FinePix S2950 14.0-Mega-pixel camera on sale for $188. I'm a beginner in photography and I mainly do close up pictures of nature-y things like leaves and bugs and stuff. I don't want to pay for a really expensive camera (I'm clumsy and don't want to spend an arm and a leg to fix it) so this seems like a really good camera for the price. I just want to make sure FUJIFILM is a good quality brand that will last me a long time. Thanks!
