Sims 3 help please! Teen sims skipping school after taking a quick bus ride.?

I downloaded a world that someone had made and for some reason when I try to send the teens to school (There is no children yet) they go onto the bus, drive for a little bit, get off, and then it says that they are skipping school. They do this every day. The world doesn't say there is a school but they always go to the same location. Is there anyway that they can go to school and I can fix this? Or a way I can make a school? Thanks for your help!
