What happens if the neighbor kids scratched and dented my car and there were eye witnesses?

Today around 3:30 pm i was getting ready to take my gf to work and she suddenly stopped me to tell me she sees something unusual on my car, so i went to go take a look and found "B I C H" written across my door panel and 3 punch holes from a metal stick on the driver side fender also a scratch about a foot long on the back of my trunk. I then asked the kids in my apartment have they seen anyone do this to my car and i they told me it was one of their friend( about 3-5 eye witnesses). So i talked to his parents and they were furious about it and offered to pay for the damages out of pocket but i doubt they'll pay around 4500 in cash so i filed a claim, but the thing is they don't drive and don't have car insurance. What will their punishment be? Its a 2006 infiniti G35 by the way.
